The plan was for a morning long run, but woke up feeling really low on energy still. Waited all day to see if I would feel better but never did. Finally went for a short evening run to see how my body would react.

Nice morning run.

The plan was a nice long session later in the day, but as the day wore on I started to not feel well. Throat started acting up again. Waited until it got dark and started to rain heavily and decided to get to bed early and go for a long morning run instead.

25Manna training. Was really hard to read the map tonight in the rain. Got out to the far end and felt that I had to finish the whole thing despite it being almost completely dark by then.

Quite sloppy orienteering in any case. Not moving too fast in the slippery woods but pushed on the trails.

Was looking forward to a new series of running tests tonight, but it ended up not being that great.

3x2km. On gravel road, small trails, and in the forest.

It was a lot of standing around waiting in the rain to start with. Started off with the small trails, but it was already dark by that point so it was hard to see where you were stepping and where the path went. Ended up missing a few turns and not really pushing all that hard. 7:22

Did the gravel test next. First km was ok (3:08) but ended up with stomach problems yet again on the second half. 6:35

Went to do the forest one, but it was too dark to see where to go so just jogged back. Should have just done regular intervals...

Ran down to Delsjovagen and did two 'radio tower climbs'. 2.3km up to the highest point in Skatas. Maybe similar to P10 to Fortune Lake. Did them at Tempo pace. Would be fun to do an actual time trial of it.

Have been waking up with a sore throat for 2 weeks now. A busy week at school, getting up early each morning. Got home and decided to take a 30min nap before going for a run but then woke up 3hrs later. Slept another 10hrs overnight.

1mins around the 8. Had to restart after 30s since there was a moose on the path just north of the soccer fields. :)

Needed 16. I think it's a bit harder to keep the pace up alone in the dark. Always seems like you're running faster than you are.

Chalmers Sprint KM

Won this race last year so was looking forward to trying to defend my title.

Started out really well up to 8, but then took a bad route to 9 and got caught behind the wall at 10. Was chasing Daniel down to 13 and decided to take a different route to 14. Was running a bit too fast though and went down the wrong passage which cost me at least 15s. Lost some more time to 19 getting thrown off by the wrongly mapped gate. Maybe 30s of mistakes.

Felt really strong physically though and managed to get 2nd behind Hoye. Happy with that! :)

Finally a solid race! After two bad races earlier in the week my confidence was pretty low. Took it slow and steady from the start though and managed a pretty clean run. Sped up as the race went on but found that I my body was really tired after a reasonably hard week. :) Won the open 9 course.
