Trail running 1:30:00 [1]
not feeling too good today... had to go way up to the end of the map to drop off an si unit. Once i got out there i was feeling better, and since it was such a nice day and the woods were so nice i really enjoyed.

Weird game...First our "star" player kent badly broke his wrist from falling after chasing the ball. After coming back on the field from running around trying to find some ice for him, i get on the field and managed to elbow the other goalie in the nose...by accident. He went off the field with a really bloody nose. I felt pretty bad.

5 laps. Finally beat last years time! I think it has something to do with me not being sick!:)
Was aiming to keep it consistent at 3min a lap but i was feeling really good. Then i decided to speed up at the end to try and beat last years time.(1450) I am VERy confident i can beat this time though.at least under 14min. or ill aim for 245 a lap.

Trail running race (cross country) 48:00 [5] 10.9 km (4:24 / km) +80m 4:15 / km vdot: 46.7
good race. I actually paced myself for the first lap. Came in at 2330, and i was wondering if i was really slow or if it was just a slow and longer than 10k course. It turns out the course was more like 11km. I guess it was also a tougher than normal 10k as well, seeing as there was lots of climb and there were lots of roots and mud patches to run through. the winner did it in 37 min so i am pleased with my time.

very physically tough and long. Made mistakes on 4-5 controls. Nothing huge but it added up to ~15min. Was lots of fun though.

Monday Oct 8

mountain biking 1:00:00 [1]
with my cousin and uncle around the ravines in Toronto. Found some really good trails. Got to use a sweet all mountain devinci bike.

Sunday Oct 7

orienteering race 1:48:00 [4] 10.5 km (10:17 / km)
shoes: Jalas black
Just kinda went out slow and steady. Made no more than a 1 minute error, but i made 4-5 of them. Also i was somewhat hesitant on some technical legs. Felt better running wise compared to the middle, but still not great. By the end i really had to go to the washroom.

Saturday Oct 6

Event: Ontario Champs

orienteering race 51:00 [3] 4.2 km (12:09 / km)
shoes: Jalas black
Wow made a few 2 minute mistakes, and i felt horrible out there. I don't think i was able to run any faster than a jog. I think it's because of being sick and unprepared.
orienteering race 18:49 [5] 3.16 km (5:57 / km) +11m 5:51 / km
shoes: Jalas black
Not sure of the distance. I felt a lot better for this race and i basically just ran as hard for as long as i could, which still wasn't fast enough. I thought i had a good clean run, but looking back i made a few bobbles. When i was standing around at the start i saw everyone on my course head off through some thick woods heading east. I figured out the general direction of the control and figured it might be faster to just run back through the start gates and take the trail. After taking a quick glimpse at the map to make sure my idea was ok, i blasted back and took the trail. I was probably runnning too hard out of the gate, but from the other splits i saw i gained 20-30seconds on that first leg.Havn't looked at the results yet but hopefully i was the fastest on that leg.
