Run race 21:13 [5] 5.0 km (4:15 / km)

Harriers racetrack 5km. Set out to do an avg 4:15 km pace. Almost .... 4.16 ! Let down by the dreaded 4th km. Not too far off my PB for this track, 21 seconds to knock off in the final race next week, If I can get motivated to put myself through that much pain ?

Run hills 1:01:00 [4] 10.5 km (5:49 / km)

Second hill run for the week, up french pass with Bozzy. Quite a good run and surprised myself with my effort level after the mount run two days earlier.

Run hills 45:00 [4] 7.9 km (5:42 / km)

Along Pilot bay , up Mt Maunganui, down and then around the base. That track is Steep, couldn't quite make it all the way up without walking for a 60 second stretch at the 3 quarter mark... Will be a goal next time i'm over there to make it all the way.

Orienteering Sprint race 23:49 [5] 3.7 km (6:26 / km)

OWaikato summer series Porritt stadium. Great course on Slow_Twitch's new map. Stuffed up control 12 and lost a minute which ultimately cost me the 3rd place to Bozzy. Had checked out 13 on the way past on an earlier leg and mistook it for 12 when the leg came up, so ran straight to it without checking map.... Also took the slower route choice on 3-4 . Over-all a disappointing race after last weeks success !
