Adventure Race 5:47:00 [4]

Whangamata 6hr AR with Jodi on her first AR. Fun race, based around Onemana Peninsular.

Our team strength was on foot so we opted to go for all rogaine points on first stages, and all bonus points on the trek, this left only about 50 mins for the last stage MTB , which we only half completed before racing back to the finish line.

A couple of good off track nav challenges which we nailed.

Ended up winning the Family Grade :-)

Cambridge to the Dam in the double w Richard. Much easier than the single sea kayak , got all the way to the dam - great paddle.

Orienteering Urban 43:50 [3] 8.9 km (4:56 / km)

Lake Rotoroa - Tough one to plan with the Lake to get around. Think I came up with a good plan, a couple of pauses that cost me maybe a minute all up, but otherwise went well. Possibly could have got one more 10 pointer but didnt think I would get back on time. 3rd overall.
Almost 9 k's - Running pace slowly coming back.
