Note
(rest day)
Drove home from Ben's party at 5.30am back to Canberra for work and Fel to run Canberra Times, dropped her off and I was getting all jealous watching all the runners getting ready, then watched them all start off and was even more pissed i wasn't running, then raced to work to be Brian's slave for the Sale.
CBF'ed when i got home from work!

Running (Long Run - Frenchs Forest) 1:55:27 [3] 20 km (5:46 / km) +475m 5:10 / km
ahr:125 max:152
Cruisy Long Run with Rob, Blair and Prong, started off with Bj, lazydave, Mace and Jose. From Jose's place down into the road and after some bushbashing or as AR Rob called it "trekking" onto some nice sydney sandstone trails, past NSWIS along Narabeen lagoon, and up some cool trails past the spy satellites in oxford falls and back up to Jose's place. Did me ankle on the road near the beginning but felt ok, but now its a bit swollen and sore. Typically nice sydney run, with Pronga putting in some good surges till he cracked, but he guts it out!

Road Cycling (Tour de Pete) 1:53:35 [2]
ahr:113 max:155
Rode the Pete with Pete...Shep, Kez and Jase, was overdressed for once and was shedding layers pretty quickly. Nice morning and could smell spring in the air. The barista's wanted to go to sfoglia instead of deli marxo, wasn't as disappointed with the pancakes as I thought, nice and thick with creammm.
Running (Mt Ainsle/Mt Majura) 1:11:45 [3] +535m
ahr:144 max:161
Easy run up Ainsle via the steep rocky track, then down over hackett hill and up Majura, then back to Dicko to pick up the car from Fel's work. Spotted the storm front coming on the top of Ainsle and tried to race it home, but wasn't even close, but all it could muster a a bit of wind and a few drops of rain...typical.

Orienteering (Tharwa Tor) 56:30 [3]
ahr:120 max:148
Easy Jog around Tharwa Tor, checking it out for the Training Event that I'm organising for Oceania. Nice area actually after I got past the hungry cows! Thought I was safe picking rock features for control sites until I relised that the mapper must have been drunk when they did it. Had to change 10/15 controls sites!! Hope it ain't a reflection of Oceania mapping! I'm sure it won't!

Running (Ainsle Long Run) 2:04:13 [4]
ahr:144 max:164
Solid long run with Gareth H from war memorial around Mt Ainsle into Majura pines and around single track and then back to War memorial. Was pretty smashed, and still had to run home, struggled in the house and the Weet-Bix did the job!

MTB (Stromlo) 1:02:46 [3]
ahr:101 max:129
Cool ride around Stromlo with Fel, first time on the single track and was at the top of Stromlo before we knew it! Awesome trunk trail and will be cool during the night in the Scott. Pretty fun on the way down on what looked like a pretty new single trail.
Orienteering (Night Training - Red Hill) 44:02 [3]
ahr:132 max:158
Night Course around Red Hill thanks to Rob F, good fun apart from the ankle killing hillsides. Topped off a good day
