Swimming (Intervals - Falun Simhall) 42:42 [3]2.2 km (19:25 / km)
Got out to the pool today after being flat out with work and Fel arriving.(YAY!) the last two days!
Riding to the pool in the 20 degree weather and past the 50m outdoor one and walking into the 25m chlorine bowl was not fun, but pumped out some intervals.
500 Warm up
5x200m with 30sec/rec
5x100m with 30sec/rec
200m Warm down.
Had Fel and Simon for company which was great, as pretty much no one else in the pool today....and I don't blame them. It was stunning weather outside!
Who said global warming was all bad!!!
C • global warming not bad 3
Strength and Conditioning (Core - Falun Idrottshall) 40:00 [3]
Quick session with the other crippled aussies in the afternoon. Doing core work. Again only ones inside today....us Aussies just take the sun for granted!

Swimming (Falun Simhall - Intervals) 50:20 [3]2.6 km (19:22 / km)
Big crew today, went to the pool with Thomas, Simon and Stefan (Thomas's housemate). Not a good sign that we are all going to the pool being cripple and all but at least we're doing something.
Did 1500m tempo, then 3x100m, then 2x100m (25easy25Hard) plus 500m warm down.
Pretty buggered after today session, needed an afternoon nap!!
Note
Saw the Sports Doc today about my knee.
Not much new news. But he thinks its some strained ligaments on the inner side of my knee around the patella. So he recommended, keep the alternative training up for a little more time, with some laser treatment and volatren for the inflammation, then lots of stretching and exercises which i have been doing since the start of this week. As well as starting to strap the knee cap. Then start some uphill running next week, and some cycle spinning as well, and gradually build up the running from there. It's definitely feeling better with out the running ...obviously!

Strength and Conditioning (Falun Idrotthallen) 40 [3]
Good core session with Thomas in Idrottshall Gym, only ones inside today..bit eerie and felt weird. Must have been cause there was sun outside and the Swedes where lapping it up as usual, when they can!
Swimming (Intervals) 40:03 [3]2 km (20:02 / km)
Went with Thomas today, while he did some pool running, made it much easier than trekking up there myself, and felt good. Did 500m warm up then 10x100m intervals with 30sec rec, then 500m warm down.
Pretty buggered after the int's tried to push hard but times don't really change.

Strength and Conditioning (Malung Gym) 45:00 [3]
Full day of work today organising o exercises around the town in Malung. Went quite well but took all day and that was a sudden shock of work for my system! So skipped a swim and went to the Gym instead. Real stiff in the back so a good move, and after alot of stretching, felt better for it.
