Trail Running 7:20:00 [4] 47.0 km (9:22 / km)
Decided to do double loop of Hockley. Started at 6:45 and it was 1C finished 7.5 hours later and it was 22C and I was toasted. Between the trees down, the lovely sisters (twice) and the heat I was working. Had to adopt some hot weather running tips I learned from Bent. Started soaking my hat in every stream. When I found snow (yes there was snow on the north side of the valley in spots) I put under my hat and ate to cool my core. Less relief on South side of valley, started dunking whole head in the few streams to avoid over heating, and finally found huge mound of snow to lie in at top of Hockley skis hill. The tailgate beer tasted especially sweet today. I'll be back when it cools down or I get better adjusted to the heat. All good.
