Buttermere-Sailbeck recce with a different start and finish (joined the race route at approx halfway). Super fast descent back to the finish but a bitch of a climb at the start of the race proper and again at halfway to get up onto the Causey Pike ridgeline. Felt a bit tired but good once into it.

Disappointing run. Hamstring not good after strength testing it on Tuesday. Pissed off. It's not as bad as it was before Tuesday but it's certainly not as good either.

Hard session. I honestly don't look forward to that first rep! Legs a bit tight after yesterday and hamstring has gone backwards by a day or so. Still felt pretty comfortable on the jog down and run out/back.

Tough day out. Felt it right from the start pretty much. Very hot out, even that early in the morning. Hit the wall around the 2:45 mark but was flagging a bit before that. Tacked some extra on to make the most of the chance to link the whole Scafell route with the new section up Harrison.
