Same issue. Tight first thing though eased off sooner than it had done the day before. Well supported in my shoes and tried to limit the amount of time spent standing on it during the working day. Difficult all the same.

Iced before and after work. Took in a golf ball to use on the sole of the foot during a free period at work to massage. Didn't put full weight on it; massaged purely from seated position for 3 sets of 5'. Never to the point of pain, just slight discomfort.

Foot sore when first weighted in the morning, specifically across the arch behind the big toe, width ways diagonally back to the outside of the sole of the foot. No issues at the heel, pain feels very much focused more toward the mid-/fore-foot.

Pain eased when shoes were on, providing more support, and was much more manageable as the day went on. Increased in discomfort after time spent inactive.
