Saturday Feb 6 #

6 AM

getting swole 25:00 [3]

Weights on snow/icy driveway. Motivation low, relying on discipline/habit to get these done.
12 PM

snowshoe 53:41 [3] 4.42 mi (12:09 / mi) +254ft 11:31 / mi
shoes: Topo Ultrafly3

First run in the new Dions. Mostly packed snowmobile tracks, a little breaking trail and finished on road.

Friday Feb 5 #

snowshoe 1:43:10 [2] 2.95 mi (34:58 / mi) +112ft 33:45 / mi
shoes: LaSportiva Core High GTX

SS ramble with Pam and Reed. Lots of med/deep snow. Target was a frozen creek which was nice to walk on for a while but soon petered out followed by Pam getting a wet foot and then Pam not that jazzed about my bushwhack-around-in-an-unverified-direction-without-knowledge-of-exactly-where-you-are leadership technique. She was a good sport though and we had a good overall outing on Reed’s birthday. Lots of deer sign out there in the frozen predominantly marshy terrain.

Wednesday Feb 3 #

bike trainer 36:00 [3] 11.3 mi (18.8 mph)
shoes: Trek XO2

TR Sugarloaf. Coffee Break Italian.

Monday Feb 1 #

6 AM

trail run 28:33 [3] 3.1 mi (9:13 / mi) +240ft 8:35 / mi
shoes: Topo Ultraventure

Mostly trail covered in tight snow, great for running. By headlamp. Fun.

Sunday Jan 31 #

1 PM

MTB 1:02:05 [3] 5.77 mi (5.6 mph) +371ft

On crusty snow on Reed’s old bike since it has 3” tires. Shock went flat after 15 minutes, then rear tire totally flat 20 minutes later. Hopefully didn’t mess up rim riding home on thin snow. Lots o resistance.
