Venturing out of Cape Elizabeth.
Bad traffic around Rt1 as expected, but a few miles later, few cars.
Fairly flat.
Found a way around the touristo traffic on the return trip by cutting through a horse racing track and finding a recreation trail.
Felt crappy at 1.5 hours, but then better. Last 45 minutes were uncomfortable, sugar was dropping.

Great Blue Hill access road, 4x.
As I rode up, a fellow was there who said "hi". Dressed as I was, bike shorts, T shirt. No bright Spandex with ads. Plain looking black Cannondale.
He allowed I could go ahead as he doubted he would ride as fast as I.
Lo and behold, half way up, here he comes. I check my watch and HR. I'm definately working hard, and when I have been here before, the brighly colored Spandex guys are not too quick.
But here he goes, right on by, spinning a much lower gear than I have.
He gives me props at the top, and for the next 2 times, though he starts after I do, he pedals on by.
I'm turning pretty decent times, but he is faster.
He must have a good time putting away those Spandex guys.......
