St Lawrence River, upstream with the wind, then back, with Rick in the stern and Judy riding amidships as the FDF lookout, (got a couple for fishbait).
Got a good look at a loon and her chick, quite rare I understand.

Wednesday Aug 8

Run on Grenadier Island. Started off with Rick and Hill, eventually Hill was warmed up and took off for some ilong intervals. My feet were hurting, but eventually I got going . Did a 2-3 minute pick up near the end across the golf course.

Tuesday Aug 7

Ride from Rockport, ON. Rick Linda Judy Hillary.Very deserted roads through the farmland. No hills to speak of.
Met a couple on a recumbant tandem who went by us on the bikepath.

Monday Aug 6

On the loop trail at Charleston Lake with Rick and Hill. Hill had some trouble with pains in her quads so dropped back to wait for Linda and Judy. Rick and I continued on a nice trail, through some nice O terrain. An owl swooped low over the trail near the end and sat watching us, and we him, for a few minutes
FDF's very aggressive, I got 9 of them, but I got 3 serious bites.
