With a body temp of 101.9 this morning, it was time to call up the DR. and get some tests, and hopefully, drugs. I was pretty convinced I had some kind of bacteria infection, as other than the fever, I had no headaches, sore throat or sinus congestion.
He has concluded it is some tick disease, maybe not Lyme, so immediately onto Doxy.... something. He will look at blood tests to see if it is somehting which would use a different anti biotic tomorrow.
Fever continued to go up, 102.9 by 4pm, so called back, and they suggested lots more Tylenol. In 4 hours fever is gone (measured 96.8 !) and I feel totally normal.
Been sleeping so much today, not sure if will will sleep tonight.........
