Exploring the Turtle Pond map for a training course. Had 2 nice courses laid out on paper, but within 100 meters I was confused by the map. Finally gave up after encountering an unmapped 8 meter cliff. Continued onto the western part, still encountering some unmapped cliffs. The woods were wonderful for the most part, very open. But the contour details were missing (USGS base).
Also encountered immense amounts of trash in one area, plus the most elaborate homeless camp I have ever seen.

to the garden, lots of the cherry tomatoes. Found a pile of orphaned hot pepper (I think) pepper plants in the trash. I took 2 of them, and planted them in the space where the dead squach had been. It added some green back to the area at least.

with Judy to visit a sculpture trail in Chilmark. Then to the Chilmark store for some lunch, and return the same route of Middle Road, which I consider the best biking road on the Vineyard, and the bike trails through the forest.
