Running 18:00 [3] 3.5 km (5:09 / km)
shoes: Adidas SuperNova

it was sunny, not terribly windy and according to whatever system the windows vista gadget uses, +5 degrees this afternoon. considering Lund's complete lack of half decent weather over the last few months, i couldnt pass up this opportunity even though i have been floored with a cold for the last week. could only handle a short lap of st hans before chest started to ache and breathing got hard. felt good to be outside

Running 20:00 [3] 2.0 km (10:00 / km)
shoes: volleys

funny story behind this....i was in stockholm to see bloc party. i googled the venue and used my map memory skills to get there in plenty of time for the concert. after 20 minutes walking around in the snow i gave up and asked someone only to be told it was about 2km away from where i was. fan ocksa!!!! (swedish swear words). so rather than miss the show completely by catching a bus i ran it....

simple task right. not so much. had to find a map and how to get there then run through the slushy icey snow in volleys, jeans, jumper and my big winter coat (not the best gear for running in). i ended up making it to the show about 3 songs before the end of the support act and had time to relax before bloc party came on. anyway the moral of the story is dont always trust google maps with life and death matters such as the location of a bloc party concert. and if all else fails....run

p.s. i was pretty sick at the time too. i got some massive dizzy spells once i sat down in the concert as well as shakes from the fever. all part of the fun.
