Lake Sylvia gravel grind with Charlie. Kept it short so he could get back to town for a wedding, and parked at Lake Winona to avoid the Arkansas Traveler 100 mile run traffic. So really Lake Winona gravel grind, but whatever. Saw some runners on the short part of the course we rode, which was fun. Did an out and back on Lake Winona road. Charlie decided to pick it up on the way back and I was gasping from lack of fitness. Good ride, though, although I could feel the bumpiness of the gravel in my back.

Neighborhood walk to get my steps in. Had wanted to ride more on my cross bike but napped instead. Threw a little running in to see how my back would fare. Didn't seem to feel it much but kept the intervals short just in case. I probably won't try an actual run for another week.

My first Pinnacle hike since my incident. Back felt fine going up but I took it easy to stay safe on the way down. Out of shape, though, my lungs were burning towards the top and this was the West summit. Yikes!

Rode from home for the first time in over a month. Back felt decent enough (felt much better today over yesterday!) so went to Fort Roots, up and back home. My legs and my lungs hurt on the return River Mountain Rd climb, and it was glorious. In a hole, I know, but things could be worse so I will take it!

Neighborhood walk. Back felt awful last night and today, lost a lot of sleep. Probably from doing the road cleanup, lots of bending. After a walk, an Epsom salt bath, a muscle relaxer and some Cross Vegas replays, felt much better.

Neighborhood walk. Wanted to ride but not sure if I should. Spent the morning doing a road cleanup with our bike club so didn't want to potentially aggravate my back since that was kind of intense. Feeling decent but want to make sure all the bones heal correctly.
