Note

Thanks Vessel off Year Zero for\t the lyrics.

This stems from my pet hate of people talking about shit in the start box.

Note - This doesn't include Rob J - it was just the best image that came up.

Buffalo. I was a little nervous about this as I've never done a long climb (Tawonga was my longest yestie!). We all arrived at the bottom together and my idea was to just spin at a comfortable tempo but this meant we broke up and I was off the front. Muz and Parto came a little closer after 10mins or so and I was gonna drop back to em but didn't know if mixing it up would be good or not.

I ended up doing it reasonably comfortably, in 65mins (gate to chalet) and could prob have done a couple of minutes quicker but I didn't want to push it in case I blew up. Smyth and the girls were great soigneurs, evening providing a surprise snake at one point.

The lads rolled in separately a few mins later and after a couple of lookout photos we rolled down, again trying to beat the rain without much luck, at least I go most of the way down as I was easily the slowest descender and would have been shitting myself if the real rain hit 10mins earlier.

Fun!

Up Tawonga Gap with the guys. Not too many beers last night so didn't feel the effects and enjoyed this. Rolled along to the start of the climb, which is pretty gradual. Ev has been on a bike in years so popped off the back with Parto. I went off the front a couple times just riding tempo but pulled up to be with Muz and Alex until towards the top where they hit the limit a bit and I just continued on up.

We stopped at the top and then when the shit weather started moving in we bailed on going down the other side and headed back home with a good effort in the pouring rain. Our turns on the front were very messy though haha.
