| Low 70s, partly cloudy - Fall group training run from the Spot, first session. It was a "time trial" to see where everyone stands. I took it easy and ran with a few of the new folks. Pretty warm and muggy, but not too bad really. Maybe my body is getting used to it a little bit. |

| High 80s, cloudy - Evening run at Mt. Airy. I arrived too late for Heather and others, so had a solo run while reading the blue course at Manitou Lake. Next time I'll remember to set my watch timer to beep every 10sec so that I can practice quick glances. I went over to check out the stone steps, plus a couple other sections of trail I haven't been on recently. But I forgot my camera!
Saw 3 deers (first time all year!), 6 dogs, a fat racoon, and a couple squirrels. Oh, and heard a woodpecker working away. |

| High 80s, clear - Easy run from the Spot with the Blast group. First real run since the trials, and it went okay! Ankles are about 90%, I think. It's so nice to be out running again :) Weather not as muggy as Sunday, but my HR was still on the high side for an easy run. It'll probably take a couple weeks to get used to the heat again.
Oh yeah, I brought along a Laramie map for reading, but was only successful for about 10 minutes. Too many people wanted to chat. |
