Jog/Walk with Graeme. I prompted most of the walking - sleepy and L knee was a wee bit sore. Got my watch back today - so now to charge it up and hopefully use it tomorrow!

Note
(rest day)

Looong car ride home with Graeme. Though we did get out of the car to look at the Spiral Tunnels and to ride THE PIPE in Revelstoke which had me laughing so hard!! Plus we walked around the town while we waited for our number to come up :D

COCs Sprint - W21E

Good navigationally, saw the tricky leg from 5-6-7 early. Came out of 4 & 9 at the wrong angle but corrected quickly. Was frustrating to finally be reading the course well but without any fitness to back that up.

I really need to get running more!

COCs Club Team Relay - Anchor Leg

Really felt the pressure being anchor especially with Ian S coming in hard and handing me off at the same time as Emma W. Tried to stay with her for one and then run my own race. Bobbled the route from 4-5 with Darya and then off the angle losing time from 10-11. Fantastic to come 3rd this was really great away to end the Icefields Parkway O-Festival!!

COCs Long - Expert

After a brutal middle race I wanted to make all the safe and solid navigational choices. This was to be a training and not a race. Overall I felt good about how this race went. Took a poor bearing out of 5 leading me past 2 and then ran the long way around on the trail to 6 - safe but rather slow. Really happy with 1-4 & 8. I was often too hesitant and stopped too early especially on 7.

Was really confused by the flagging tape to the go control (though I had somehow passed it and stopped) especially with the control description saying there was a 200m shoot which there certainly was not!

Also by the time my course went near water on the way to 8 there was really no point in stopping as the race was soon over.
