Tricky Dog-Bones @ Memorial South Park

The way the dog bones were laid out it almost felt like there were three boxes. I just kinda started in a direction without fully looking at my map and then figured it out from there...and I did all my thinking in three distinct "sets".

First set: #3-4, #10-9, #16-15, #11-12, #13-14 decision point...... then
Second set: #22-21, #33-34, #27-28, #23-24, #25-26, #32-31 decision point..... then
Third set: #5-6, #20-19, #18-17, #29-30, #8-7 and then the odd duck out #2-1

MISTAKE should have gone #15-16

Map will be posted here: https://gvoc.whyjustrun.ca/events/view/2730

PS running in fields of icy deep snow is rough...

Went up Cypress with Graeme he was feeling ill and I was feeling a bit better with drugs but a little wooden-legged from the previous day. So our paces (and our jackets) matched perfectly and it was quite pretty out!

Poor Graeme ended up feeling quite green during the car ride back but luckily I am apparently an expert at quickly pulling over on the highway.

New Year's Day on Cypress!

Got up nice and early and had a great morning skate ski with me, myself, and I which was simply enjoyable :D Great snow, views, etc I had such a fun ski that I treated myself to some hot soup and happy juice!

(Time is moving time. I was up for longer but took pictures, studied the map, and just looked around at the view & the silly Whoville trees and smiled)

So fun fact about Kate....

I have had tonsillitis at least twice a year, sometimes up to 4/5 times a year, for 10 years now.... never once have the tests come back positive for strep or any of its cousins.

- I have been in emergency twice for it starting in first-year university.
- I have also been tested twice for cancer and thankfully no cancer.
- I have also been told numerous times that I would potentially "grow out of it" and that if I had been born in a different era I would have, like my father, had them removed.
- I have been told by ER doctors that the second I feel it coming on that I should start taking 3 acetaminophen and 3 ibuprofen together.... a couple times a day to head it off, and when I get a prescription it seems to alternate between steroids and antibiotics.

My doctor and I have concluded based on a complete lack of it ever resulting in anything a test can figure out and my rarely actually being sick when it happens that it might be stressed induced... even when I may not actively be feeling stressed out about something.

So my New Years Resolution... is to get my tonsils out by 2018 because this just isn't fun anymore.
