So Emily, Oscar, Ian, Rachel, and I went to a thing... a thing so terrible it will forever live on as the funniest worst thing I have ever seen. I have never lost it so hard as an audience member and been in such good company - oh man! One of my favourite parts was when Ian walked out - PRICELESS!
It was as though a terrible high school play were given a production budget. As Emily said "an unexpected comedy!" And for those keeping score at home:

Norvan, Hanes Junction, Hanes Valley (30 min lunch at the Helipad), up to Crown Mountain (1504) GORGEOUS 360 views (40+ min rest/take in of the view), then on to Grouse to download. I never stopped my watch so subtract the breaks from the overall time to get moving time.
GREAT adventure with Max, Peter, Alex P, and her friend Kristi! Such a hot day I've never sweat so much haha
So Wednesday I got up super early to drive diagonally from the North Shore to the farthest school I could in Surrey on the border with White Rock for an interview to teach 2 blocks of English 8 and 10 respectively.
Then I drove back to the North Shore so I could transit to the Jewish Archives (41st and Oak st.) and have lunch with my friend Alysa - somehow this turned into a job interview (surprising both Alysa and I a wee bit) and so now I have a contract with the Jewish Archives. I figured at this point at the very least no matter what happened with Surrey I was now more employed than I was the day before.
Cue today - I GOT THE TEACHING POSITION! Stoked to actually be a teacher :D I am excited to ease my way into full time and get to start up the year with my own class. I am feeling 50% over the moon and 50% fuck haha #adulting
