Self Defence! RCMP + Jiu Jitsu Dude... I can now break your arm!

I also have "My Band" by D12 stuck in my head thanks to teaching two blocks of P.E. today.

Note

DnD... tonight I tried to jump down from the back of a caravan to join in the battle. I had to roll an athletics check as I am a gnome... I rolled a 1... so I faceplanted into the ground and used the rest of my turn to stand back up. Le sigh poor Nyx is the earnest accidental comic relief of our crew. At least I had three solid magic missiles right afterwards :P

I suspect I'll never be warm again...

Great flowy course by Chris Benn... it's too bad nearly freezing rain was in the forecast because otherwise, it would have been an ideal WJR.

I was slow. Partly I think due to being really quite cold when I started, and warming up for exactly zero seconds. I did, however, greatly enjoy my outing and was quite pleased I had braved the elements as the physical and emotional gains from a nice long run were great!

Came home, quick outfit change, a cup of tea, some route analysis and drawing with Erica, and then back outside to help her and a neighbour clear the leaf induced lake on the street outside. Leaf clearing was quite enjoyable and satisfying. Then we set about attempting to swap out my spare for the newly adopted driver's side winter tire... which was going dandy until my jack broke.

Luckily I have a Max. Ya'll should get yourselves a Max.

Lost a tire last night... Rest In Peace front driver's side winter tire. Only a year old, such a young life to lose, his three siblings mourn his passing.

Managed to snag 1 of 2 of the correct tire left in BC after some running around to various Kal Tires. Thank goodness for a family willing to go and pick up said tire once it's on your rim while you're at work. Now just to put it on my car Sunday...
