Road Race race 1:00:00 [5] 14.0 km (4:17 / km)

Northern Road Relays.

Not brill. Felt ok to begin with but crapped out at about 4km and had to hang on from there. Disappointing. Lack of pace really showed against those guys, especially when we hit the track at the end and i got totally blasted.

Road Intervals 1:00:00 [4] 15.0 km (4:00 / km) +100m 3:52 / km

warm up, 9 mins 30@ 5k pace, 6 mins @ 3.00, 4 x 400, cool down

Felt good when i set off tonight but was a bit tired by the end. Felt like i had had a tough week and was tired out. I think i am still catching up from last weekend.

GPS watch battery was dead (still can't find my new garmin) so was just on an analogue watch. I think i was running pretty quick.

It was a very windy night so i planned the run so i had it behind me for the efforts.

Easy Run - Road 1:07:00 [3] 15.0 km (4:28 / km) +150m 4:15 / km
shoes: Adidas Ultra Boost

Ran back to work for my car this morning. I was surpised as i thought the run back would be quicker.

Couple of days of work meets etc mean they haven't been ideal for running.

Easy Run - Road 1:03:00 [3] 15.0 km (4:12 / km) +150m 4:00 / km
shoes: Adidas Ultra Boost

Ran home from work in a horrendous rain storm. Got completely saturated. At least it was warm.

Road Intervals 1:30:00 [4] 21.0 km (4:17 / km) +200m 4:05 / km
shoes: Adidas Ultra Boost

warm up, 12 x 3 mins 2 threshold with 2 min roll ons, cool down.

The first few felt crap to be honest but it was at about number 6 i had a downhill one and after that everything felt a bit better i was running quicker and feeling more comfortable doing so. Perhaps the first few were just gradually uphill.

The roll ons were quite 'moderate' but much improved over other sessions. I aimed to keep them consistent throughout so, despite perhaps not being moderate, i managed to 'run' off each rep instead of slowing right down. Much improved (in my opinion). It was a hard hour.

Still tired. Hoping to hit the hay early again to catch up.

Easy Run - Trail 1:10:00 [3] 13.0 km (5:23 / km) +50m 5:17 / km
shoes: Adidas Ultra Boost

Exploration run from home on a path down the river. Really pleased i found my way as i can use it from now on.

I was totally knackered today from the weekend and had to drag myself out. It wsa a really nice night so once i got going i felt ok. It woke me up a lot.

Still feeling a bit shitty through the day. Hard to explain. Not a cold but just really shitty. Just want to go and do nothing.
