Hiking (Half Dome) 11:52:00 [3] 17.4 mi (40:55 / mi) +1400m 32:44 / mi

So I guess you could say this was a Half Dome Hike. Ended up getting about .3 mi from the top, but didn't actually get to summit today though. My boss and I were leading three people. Two younger people and a 75 year old man. My boss ended up taking the two younger and faster people up and I lead the 75 year old. It was rough... We got to the top of the first waterfall and he goes "Katie, I'm bleeding" after fixing that we get to the top of the second waterfall where he pulls out his inhaler... He then tells me he has a few holes in his lungs "it no big deal though". His legs were cramping form the start so it was very slow walking. MY calves were actually pretty sore from the slow pace. He was such a nice guy and had many great stories to tell. It was heart breaking that we were unable to make it, but my boss has a turn around time that we have to follow for safety purposes. We ended almost at the top of Sub Dome so we almost made it to the cables.
