traveled to winnipeg during the day. left LU around 9ish, got into winnipeg around 6, with the tornados aha.
not too bad of a drive, slept most of the way.

warmup for about 45 min because game ahead was late. but had no nets because we were in a spare gym. very akward. got about 4 min to shoot. didnt start, but got put in early. pretty much equal playing time,but i did not play well so it felt like as soon as i got put on, id be off. high fouling game, refs called a lot of silly stuff.

U15s lost to the thunder selects by 69 points. ahah.

legs were sore from sitting all day+track yesturday

2 hours-ish of work at the gym with tasia taka and katay. first hour was solid, did form shooting, foul shots, then wing work-basically hitting so they couldnt get open. then played 2 on 2 for an hour or so with breaks in between and switching up teams. its hilarious posting up against kt/tasia because they are short-es. re-jammed the thumb, itll be ok though. just a bit stiff
lucky bum is leaving for hali today. we might be getting tshirts from the tourni.

2nd annual lappe track meet. quite a few people der.
50, 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000

50-200 were good. then i felt the lactic acid build up. not fun. 1500 was realllly slow. and 3000 was almost a jog. every time i tried to go faster, my body would fight it.

Basketball 45:00 [3]
scrimmage against U15s and then against varsity with only 5 players. so a solid hour and a half scrimmage. it was pretty sloppy. a lot of people weren't doing their jobs, but hopefully that can be fixed before winnipeg. should be fun. U15s leave for hali tomorrow, very jealous.

got to the gym a bit late, did weights from around 1230-1, then some core.

in the gym from 130-3 with taka, carol and tasia.
form shooting(make 50) foul shots, then shooting plan. very long. basically working on footwork, 1dribble pull up, off screen, 2 dribble pull up, 3 pointers.
would take as many shots until made 10, wasn't doing too well because i was trying to focus on holding my follow through and jumping. then would take 10 foul shots, and alternate. i got 3 3 pointers in a row! pretty excited. too bad it took me 35 shots to get them all.

biked too and from the gym.

didn't feel too well, but tomorrow i think all im going to do is scrimmage at night, so i should feel fresher for thursday

at le gym with tasia/taka. did weights-a lot of arms, a bit of legs, then about 15 minutes of core-nothing too hard. from 1230-130ish, maybe a bit more

from about 145-230-form shooting, some wing work, then +7/-7, then walked to merla mae with taka lisa tasia for ice cream...great adventure

solid 1 hour of varsity scrimmage. got sorta messy at end.
played ok, not the greatest. got a few baskets, but really need to work on
a) pump fakes (got blocked by shannon pretty bad)
and b) post moves when there's conjestion in the key
as well as the usual

to centennial, some shuniah and back through bluffs

2hr15 min practice.

active warmup, shooting, 5ball, more shooting, incorperating our offense with it, then some 5 on 0, then box and break 5 on 5. shot was off in free throws.
at 830 played against varsity players, with either tasia or lisa on our team because both our pgs werent there. played a lot of 5 against shannon, worked really hard to seal.
was really fun today:)
