Bike Critterkill-Tolke-Siefert. Took about 27 mins to reach summit. Non stop the whole way. Felt really good this time, almost easy. HR maxed on off-trail section between summits. Bombed down backside, nearly died. I really got to get a new bike. Used Diamondback Voyager II. Warm and sunny today. Cool, refreshing breeze at top. Gear 1-1.

Forced day off. Tried to run in the morning, but didn't feel like doing it. Then, just as I was setting foot out the door to run, Steve and Lisa called, needing to be 'rescued' from Vernonia-- too long of a bike ride for them, and no work out for me.

Had a hard time getting my heart rate up. Benny and Tara are both sick (stomach flu), and I am tired with a higher than normal rhr. Cold, cloudy, windy and a little drizzle. Crap day, crap workout.

Kinda easy run, just uptrail and back. Cool, clear and dry. Wanted to go easy today just to see where I am physically, and to set a baseline for future training.
