Went to Weston. Did not have fun. Refreezing rutted mess in places, hardpan ice in others. Bailed, as I didn't want to risk falling and damaging my shoulder

Weston again, with Kristin. Did everything twice (it was all open), with the exception of the man made side which we only did once. Shoulder not totally happy with it, but it feels more muscular than anything else. Had to do it as this week looks like a lot of the snow will go

I was told by the Dr could do anything I want (with my shoulder issue) so I decided to test it out while there is still local snow to ski on. Shoulder protested to start, but warmed up to it. Wish I could say the same about the rest of my body - so not used to exercise. It's going to be a long road back. I guess I'll find out later what my shoulder really though of it.....

Rock Meadow and Beaver Brook. Not fast going, as slippery in places and I was generally being cautious. Apparently I either kicked myself really hard in the ankle or I turned my ankle at some point. Don't recall doing either, but when I got home and took off my socks my right ankle is black and blue and swollen on the inside just above the ankle bone. Mystery to me!

One armed skate skiing at great brook. Well, a lot of no pole really, only using the single pole when needed. My legs are going to hurt later. Conditions were ok on the farm/parking side- icy and debris strewn on the other side

Right shoulder wasn't happy with balance checks, nor the steep narrow up I had to do at one point where I kept catching the tips in the crusty stuff at the sides and having to catch my balance.
