Lone tree hill, until my R achillies grabbed and I stopped to prevent further damage. Calf had started tightening after about 10 minutes, but this has been the norm for my runs recently. Achillies pulling was a new phenomena and not a good progression

Dr said no restrictions due to shoulder injury a few weeks ago. Cortisone shot was supposed to help clean up inflammation. It certainly doesn't feel right still, but I decided to try a paddle anyways to test it out. Didn't feel great, with pain in my bicep tendon, elbow and round the scapula; and to join the fun, my left shoulder biceps tendon was also annoyed. I'll see how it feels later I guess

Paddled on the charles in newton, at over 50 degrees in January with no ice in sight on the river. Ugh
