8 AM

Canoeing (C2 stern) 2:22:30 [2] 15.4 mi (9:15 / mi)

Millers river with Tim Garland. Went OK for the first time in a boat together, though I would need to move him forward in the boat in the future as I was all the way forward to get the boat trim, meaning that shallows were a struggle

Apparently my HR monitor didn't capture data again, despite being fine on Wednesday. Grrrrrrrr.

Canoeing (C2 stern) 2:01:00 [3] 12.1 mi (10:00 / mi)
ahr:122 max:152

With Kevin in the Charles. Steady paddle, with some random sprints and efforts. Felt tired by the end

Canoeing (C1 flatwater) 1:10:50 [3] 6.91 mi (10:15 / mi)
max:152

20 mins warm up
12 x 2 mins on, 1 min off
rest was warm down

HRM again stopped recording data. Got about 25 mins of the session then stopped. Not sure what is going on, as the battery is new. Not even sure if the max was actually the max......

Orienteering 1:20:00 [1]

Hanging controls at Houghtons Pond event. Just walking around the woods with a diminishing number of controls in a big duffel bag
11 AM

Canoeing (C1 flatwater) 2:26:30 [2] 14.3 mi (10:15 / mi)
ahr:120 max:138

Hmm, not sure the HRM was working properly during this paddle.... Felt like I was working harder than that! Charles from CRCK in the rain. Down to Moody St, up to the golf cart bridge, down to Moody St again, and back to CRCK.
Updated, after looking at data. HR strap lost contact after 1:15 so average is definitely bogus. Corrected it to the average over the time it was working ok
