Paddle Skedaddle at Hamilton Reservoir. Two lap course round the perimeter of the lake. Windy, with waves. Two sketchy legs where the waves were on the side/quarters. Took off from the start and was first C1 almost immediately and stayed there. Pretty sketchy on the downwind leg to the first buoy, with all the boat washes. Next leg between buoys had me pretty tense due to side waves, but made it without any mishaps but a few braces. Next few legs were OK but then the one coming toward the start again was pretty sketchy. Ok at the start of the second lap, but again the second leg was tricky and almost flipped when two waves crashed into my boat. Did a big S to get to the next buoy to avoid having to paddle with the waves directly on my side. Rest of the way was OK, though I swear the wind was stronger!


Limited HR data as it lost contact and started again part way into the second lap!

Thought I should do some hip exercises as it has been a while and, given impending surgery on the other hip, I should strengthen things to aid the recovery
