running 10:00 [2]

Warm-up

orienteering 1:13:21 [5] 7.4 km (9:55 / km) +75m 9:26 / km

Tricky sand dune terrain: good in the beginning, getting tired near the end and made a parallel error...at least 5 minutes. And then just tired in the last bit.

Warm up

orienteering 1:14:40 [5] 7.84 km (9:31 / km) +50m 9:14 / km

Freezing, freezing cold. Icy snow falling the whole time. First half of terrain was somewhat mild, then small green areas with complex contour detail and then open sand dunes. Very heavy running, particularly with icy winds coming perpendicular. Did okay after the first 3 controls (took that long to get into the map). Lost at least 3 minutes on the first control, more on the third. Finished 7th out of 13.

snabblop on the golfbana...this was tough but really good because lots of rolling hills, switches in and out of forested bits, and different types of footing (grass, sand, ice, forest). Had to stop once to tie shoelace
