orienteering race 1:31:32 [5] **** 10.1 km (9:04 / km) +330m 7:47 / km
shoes: Inov

Final leg on IFKs second team. The orienteering before the varvning went really well. Focused, a few micro mistakes within some of the circles, but otherwise fine. After the varvning, things did not go so well. Was able to focus through the next two controls, but body ran out of fuel and started making messy routes to the controls. Still hitting everything, but losing more time on the way, and a few stupid things near the end of the race.

Stomach was upset the whole race - tried to help by taking some sports drink at one of the water stops, but that just made things worse. Did not eat enough before the race, and was running on empty.

Happy with the first half, not with the second.

Tuesday night training - some speed training on the 10km loop.
Two 2min intervals with 1 min rest, followed by six 1 min intervals wtih 1 min rest, following by six 30 sec intervals with 30 secs rest, following by 4 15 second pick-ups with jogging in between.
With Annica and Jenny J. Tired today - but hip felt okay, which was good. Main challenge was pushing through workout after a tough day at work and not so much rest.

A very slow easy run to further test the hip, but also try to clear the brain from research piling higher and deeper....
