Fun day. Did some via ferrata and was near enough dragged up the side of a cliff by a French guide who's shoes were worryingly close to falling apart. Good fun

Had asked Juan if he wanted to do a session but he was doing the Edinburgh uni tri club session so decided to tag along. Got nice and warmed up for 6:30 then there was about 30 mins of faffy drills and exercises and I got a bit cold again.

Was told the session was 800,600,4X400. First rep was more like 950m and the second was a little longer than 600 but the 400s were about right.

Speedy wee group. Sitting with them quite happily on the longer ones but lack of speed showed and got dropped on the 400s. Recovering quite quickly aerobically but just couldn't get going any faster
