Not feeling very on top of uni work for exams in a couple of weeks and working tomorrow so took the day off. I've also done quite a bit of running the last few days compared to most of this year so far and even though its not that much in the grand scheme of things I don't want to rush into it too much

A bit tired so out for something flatter. Lots of excitement on this run. First I saw one of the Proclaimers, then I saw a woodpecker and then saw my first lambs of the year.

Hill reps with Hamish. Using the long grassy climb to the side of the pumphouse. Haven't done hill reps properly since last Summer so was expecting this to be tough going but it was surprisingly good. Running with Hamish for the first two then he started pushing on the third and I just about held on. On the final one he kept pushing and I dropped off on the last steeper bit. Times not too bad though. Helped by having some company and a bit of a tailwind for a change.

Nice run. Enjoying it and feeling quite good. Will do a session tomorrow or wednesday I think but probably hill reps. I do quite like road sessions and feel like they're pretty useful so I probably will keep doing them but need a little longer before I can face it again. Plus left calf still a little iffy at points.

Some impressive consistency in the grade adjusted paces the last few days
