Another good session down at the track

8 min tempo at the standard pace then 6X800. First 800 fairly easy, next two a bit quicker, next two a bit quicker again then fast as I could still manage for the last one.

Really good session. Running in a nice group with Jonny and Alex Muir. Last rep was a massive struggle but I think that's about an 800m pb for me. Enjoying this track stuff at the moment and feel like I'm running fairly well

A fairly poor attempt at doing a recce of Lomonds. Couldn't figure out where I was meant to climb up to get out the forest. Started on what seemed like a trod but it quickly vanished leading to some hacking through brambles and some slightly sketchy scrambling.

Eventually got out but was a bit confused and took me a while to figure out where I was meant to be. Eventually got on track. Didn't bother with the out and back to East Lomond so just headed up and over the west one.

Couldn't be bothered dropping all the way down to the big stone just to come back up so dropped a little and started contouring. Not entirely sure what I was meant to do but got a very nice trod and assumed this must be the right way and wound up contouring far too high. By the time I realised I was above some crags and didn't fancy dropping down so kept high above the forest to find where I was originally meant to come out at the start.
