Awesome run with a great group. Went to glossop with Áine, Sam, Fraser and Ben. Really warm and great sunshine for the first hour or so. Climbed up bleaklow into the cloud after that. Fraser guided us along through the bogs with us all getting a bit cold. Then when we started to drop down we were treated to an amazing sunset and cloud inversion. Best run I’ve had since moving to Manchester

Lyme park parkrun. Part of the chorlton fell series. Really nice route. Couldn’t go with the Buxton lad who shot off at the start on the first climb. After that the gap stayed fairly constant with a decent gap behind me. Started gaining again on the uphill to the finish but didn’t have enough to get ahead. Pleased to pip Peter’s time by a few seconds

CR Track session.

7' Tempo, 5X(500(45s),300(2mins)), 7' tempo

Good session and running well tonight. Tempos felt good and was running about 5:30 pace on each of them. Rests on the reps were a little more generous than listed since we were trying to keep a bit of a group together.

500s: 1:36, 1:33, 1:31, 1:33, 1:32

300s were all about 51s except the last one which was a little slower since I got a bit caught behind some people
