This was a tough one. Slow to leave and was ages since breakfast by the time I got going (combined with a traffic jam on the way there). Felt ok at the start but thought it wasn't unlikely I'd bonk a bit despite having some jelly babies. Easy up the first climb and along the edges.

Dropped down into edale valley and was roasting. Managed to lose the top of my bottle briefly and a good chunk of water. Struggled back up kinder and home from there. Wiped out after

Felt fairly good through this. A lot of others have gotten a bit quicker lately and everyone always pushes hard anyway but felt fairly controlled throughout and sticking to around 5k pace. The group got slower and slower on the jog back recoveries after the 2s but felt fairly fine. Maybe could have pushed harder but happy with this.

Long reps: 5:12 and 5:13 pace

Turn Moss session with a good group. 5x1.1k (~90s) on the figure of eight loop.

Found this tough going tonight. Hurting a lot from early on but managed to hold it together and keep the same pace throughout. I did more reps at a slightly faster pace before the half marathon while I was tapering. Happy enough with this though between the heat and feeling Sunday's long run in my legs a bit more today. Everyone else running fast though and I was off the back of people I was running with not too long ago.
