Sunday Feb 19 #

11 AM

Hill Running 52:54 [1] 5.05 mi (10:29 / mi) +344m 8:39 / mi
(sick) shoes: Inov8 X-talon 212 #8

Finally succumbed to Kally's cold that she's had all week. Woke up feeling a bit grotty but not awful. Thought it was worth trying to get out and I might feel a bit better. Feeling pretty rubbish though so bailed early and napped the rest of the day

Saturday Feb 18 #

10 AM

Trail Running 1:25:03 intensity: (36:03 @2) + (49:00 @4) 12.04 mi (7:04 / mi) +115m 6:52 / mi
shoes: Asics Gel Cumulus #6

Solo turn moss session stealing Purko's session from earlier in the week.

6,6,5,5,4,4,3,3,2,2 all off 1 min.

Fairly solid session. Not running particularly quickly and on each rep never really felt like I could pick it up anymore but in each recovery and after the session I felt fairly ok. Good chunk of time at a decent effort

4 PM

Road Running 50:06 intensity: (20:06 @2) + (30:00 @3) 7.77 mi (6:27 / mi)
shoes: Adidas SL 20 #2

5 mile steady round Birchwood after work. Short on time today so warm up and cool down were shorter than normal but still got the full session in. Flatter loop than I've been using in Chorlton so this felt really comfortable and easy for the same pace

Hill Running 1:19:38 [2] 9.28 mi (8:35 / mi) +523m 7:18 / mi
shoes: Inov8 X-talon 212 #8

Easy Lyme park. Feeling quite good tonight and moving well and feeling pretty easy. Been a while since I've had a hill run like this!

8x2min (90s downhill recovery) hill reps in Lyme park.

This was quite a grind and slower than I've done similar reps on this hill before. Legs really struggling in the second half. Good to get something done though
