Disappointing how close I was. I definitely think it was obtainable. My heat went out in 30 seconds though for the first lap, so we went really slow and I got boxed in and stuck in the slower group when the fast crew took off in the 2nd/3rd lap. When there was an opening around 500 m I took it and went and was able to close in 29 high but wasn't enough to make up for how slow my first two laps were. Frustrating but what can you do.

Good workout today. Wasn't quite the speed I was expecting but it was good to do some 800 pace work. Felt a little uncomfortable at the end of the 400 which made me a little nervous to run a real 800 if 59 felt a little tough.

Decent workout today. Doing the 100's the wrong way was bothering my foot but as soon as we started going the correct way it felt way better.
