RUN #2: Hilly rolling trail run. My hamstring is still cranky, to a lesser degree. I don't know what to do but I hoping I just keep stretching it out and it'll finally give. Get out of my desk chair more, etc.
RUN #1: This was the big training run. Due to someone's schedule we ended up having to do this at Hanging Rock State Park here in NC (afterwards I went to Asheville for my first time for like 15 hours- too short a visit but it was neat to finally be there!!). Lots of shale and climbing at Hanging Rock, several thousand feet I think. Of course it was rainy in the morning and then no visibility but we did summit both Moore's Knob and Hanging Rock. I worked on fast hiking as one of the folks we were with is a mountain goat.
