Legs abso gone, just had no terrain give at any point really. Contemplated dropping out but nah that ain't for me, ground it out and actually very happy to keep the nav on point apart from one 30s job. Feels like I've just finished a training camp or something, so hopefully with a bit of rest this coming week the legs start going again. Quality area tho and a good course so I did kinda enjoy it ;)

Legs pretty mashed at this point so didn't enjoy the running nature of the course but gurned my way round without too much faff. A couple of sub optimal routes but no mistakes as such.

Seat3, no way was I making the 7am pedley ride after yesterday's excursions so a solo job this morn. Quite nice and warm, and legs started to feel good on the 3rd lap which was nice. Bike is not in a good state atm, might just ride it into the ground.

With gg and spongey. Bit of a shock running at speed in terrain again and the nav was struggling because of it. Felt much better moving in the terrain than Sunday though so that's a big plus, just need to get the nav used to it again.

Shat myself when I stood on a bit of metal sticking out the ground and it went through the shoe, luckily no damage to the foot but was a close call. Good practise holding the line through some rough stuff, summer vegetation is pretty much here :(

10' Tempo + 6*800m [75s]

Bloody disaster trying to get onto the track at Saughton, so we just bailed onto the tarmac loop round the park. The 800s were just one lap reps, so approx 800m. The old forerunner 10 was giving me some naughty paces haha, guys watches said ~3.20mins/km for the tempo and then 2.27, 27, 27, 27, 25, 26 mins for the laps. Just tucked in behind Craig Morris for the whole thing, tempo felt very good actually, could chat the whole way, aerobic system is good, legs just need to get there.
