3*10mins [2mins] på mølle. 10% and 5 mins/km. Ran the first rep in my adidas carbon boys but feet were hurting in them with the gradient so switched back to the pegs. Defo much easier wearing the carbon boys, everything just felt much more squishy in the pegs and like I was running in a marsh or something compared with the carbon boys. Had planned 4 but this was a solid effort, HR well up over 180 so thought 3 was enough. Watching Keith and Alice at euro cross got me through.

Treadmill time. Pretty boring stuff. Stuck on some Olympic skiing, got through it. Should try and do my easy runs outside and sessions on the treadmill or indoors.

Little headtorch ski med Tilla. Just on the local track, so skied from the door to there which is cool (although bad for the skis on the pavements oops). The track isn't very wide so can't really skate so just had to double pole the whole way, luckily it's not too hilly so can just about get round fine. Very fun, very tough work, upper body so tired by the end. 2 highly comedic falls for myself, and also crashed into Tilla which made her fall lolol. HR also guff (in general as well) as its the wrist thing and I wore the watch over my jackets.

Jog into Estenstad in the deep deep snow with Anselm and Tilla. Very pretty out there but wading through knee deep snow was some tough work. Probably didn't need the headtorch tbh, moon was very bright and the snow reflected it so was quite noice. Down to less than 5hrs of daylight today. Fun.

At a new place, Granåsen, both where the woc forest races were held and where world ski champs will be in a couple years. Was hillier than yesterday which did cause some issues, however by the end my uphill technique was okay, at least I could make it up the hills haha. Took one tumble at the start when we decided to poon it down the hill, made it down then ended up doing the splits trying to stop at the bottom F. Techniques to work on; paddling, double dance, double poling, stopping (lol).

On the treadmill. Lungs not 100% but very nearly there, feeling way better than yesterday at least. Aquiring a pair of skis now then a bloody steep learning curve this afternoon as I attempt to learn how to ski. Watch this space.

XC skiing. Christ on a bike. Or rather, christ on skis. Bought byself some skate skis so can skate or double pole, seems like a good starting point. Anyways Tilla followed me about and tried to teach me. Went better than I thought it would tbh. Just really need to practise all the techniques. Very fun, will be back, hopefully tomorrow.
