Freidigstafetten. 5th place with an ish CC team (Halvor decided not to show up this morning so we roped in Vegard onto the second leg.) I went out quite a long way back after Lars managed to lose a solid 10mins on first leg. Took an horrific routechoice to the second control so was unknowlingly passed by Anders. Ran really quite well by myself, strong and apart from 2, taking good routes. Was very surprised to see Anders ahead of me to the 8th control, so put in a bit of a shift across a marsh to catch some time and then immediately binned 30s into the control. Anders missed the next one so I got ahead. Alone from there into near the end, featuring a horrific compass bearing from 10-11 so lost another 20s there. Saw Frol leaving the second last control as I was battling up the hill, tried to push but started to be sick. Gave it everything down the run in to try for the catch on the line, but ended up not quite managing and then spending a few minutes wretching at the finish. At least I know I gave it all. Bit annoying to not get anything for that effort in finish. 2nd best leg time, featuring some short gaffling, Sandy steam rolled us by 3mins, but beat Anders and most importantly Erling ;) Fun day.

5*1km Oints in Estenstad with some boyos. First one getting into it, ft. some hunting for features in the circle. Then we ran some mass starts and I was pretty okay. Still wasn't amazing in the circle but always harder without controls out. Do need to invest slightly more time in my routes before charging off. Last rep downhill, battling with Mr Aurebeck for glory was great fun. Then straight into the lake afterwards was even better.

Onstek. Well that was some of the nicest orienteering I've done in a while, mostly downhill and extremely lovely terrain. I did however feel like a big sack of potatoes, legs a bit empty for power, I guess a combination of starting on the volume again and some school stress (but actually not so much thankfully) and also it was mega warm today ooft. Need to prepare for the heat in the races this summer!
