Good start for once! I was so cold! Couldn't feel my arms and i couldn't breath through my nose! Defiantly affected me first half- il wear more in future!
Got complacent and let a large group past me before realising what had just happened! Picked them all off then had a shocking sprint finish so one got past me :-( 7th, ahead of Gwen Gilliam but I should of been a bit further ahead if I'd raced smart...

I seem to go through phases of dropping it back because I think I won't be able to keep the pace up then realising I need to push it on a bit.

2 days off due to my knee, was a little sore but not too bad during the race.

Couldn't get a train back up for a race so my dad sorted out some tickets from an obscure website but now my knee is proper sore and even hurts to walk. So I probably won't even be able to run... And I don't think tickets can be cancelled :-(

Vo2 didn't have the leg strength for the 8th bag, annoying as that was hindering me not so much my fitness. So probably haven't improved as I kept the 7th relatively low as I was expecting 1 more... :-(

At least my windgates improved as I didn't completely stop!

SO COLD! Started at 2 degrees and it felt like it dropped! On the jog down to training someone said 'hey fran' but I can't work out who it was... 5x 4 mins with 90s recovery and missing out the 4th and jogging that :-) at the end hung onto amy :-) fun but freezing :-D

Cycling thing is finished bar a vo2 test tommorow :-)

Spoke to my coach today- cause I don't like using my Garmin I tried yesturday but lasted 3 minutes before switching it to indoors- but apparently it's fine, and I should continue to run how I feel. I also think I look at my watch too much while racing xc when it doesn't mater so il try race without it.
I also spoke to him about general things like motivation and some goals which was really nice :-) I need to put a bit more effort into things that contribute to running like stretching as I can't touch my toes, oops!

Felt rubbish but it's just about getting the miles in :-) would of liked to run faster but a Grampa jog was all I could manage...found some dog kennels after getting chased by a dog- won't be returning there... pure hate dugs
