shoes: Inov8 X Talon 212

Compass sport cup at balnagowen. overall had a pretty bad run making stupid mistakes and being sloppy near the control. physically felt a bit stiff near the start but began getting into my stride half way round. was clean til 4. screwed up 5 just lost contact with map. found an extra control on hill to west. over to six just didn't grasp where I was on the hill should have used more distant features and payed more attention maybe slow down. ran straight past 11 should have stayed closer to green. also eneded up following terrible route to 19. but enjoyed the area

Running 800m intervals in rain. first ran 2.18 legs feeling a bit stiff. Second run 2.23 slowed a bit so tried to pull back. next other way round 2.21. and then 2,19. last ran 2,18.

had a spin on the spin bike to get the legs moving and get some blood flowing round them

an easy run around glasgow, nice evening,. not gonna make basketball tonight.

mile reps this evening. very strong headwind on one of the straights but also nice tail wind. Felt pretty strong on first rep ran 5.26. Second set had slower start but was slightly off the pace, 5.32. Third set wanted to bring it back quite tough going legs feeling it alot now, ran 530. last set eveything was burning it was very tough. wind felt stronger, ran 5.36. compared to last set of mile reps considerable improvement.
