Long run day with Siri! Headed out to Axtell-Anceny Road and did an out-and-back. When we're less crunched for time, we'll do the one-way of this. It was gorgeous with the hard frost on the grass, and the sunshine highlighting all the mountains. There's a solid chunk of state land along the road too....potential orienteering spot? Would be a lot like the open grass California hills!
Also: right foot hurting again. Will be trying different shoes next time I'm out.

Tuckerman park with Collin, squeezing it in between class and my hospital orientation. Felt some pain on the underside of my right foot, between the two pads at the front. Weird since I did absolutely nothing last week... maybe the shoes I brought for my CNA shifts weren't supportive enough?

Lick Creek with Collin, Matt M, and Matt's roommates. I forgot to tape before leaving home, so I only had thin little tape to use for my heels and it didn't work well. Ended up with two gnarly blisters on the insides of both heels. The plan was to rent a different setup for this weekend, but I completely forgot. Next time I go backcountry, that's the plan!

2x 2mi tempo, 6x 200m strides. Better late than never! Wrong shoes for this, definitely. The snow was so packed down and melted that it was pretty icy in some spots, and keeping any sort of traction around the turns was a challenge. Felt good to try turn over my legs a little faster though!
