Running 19:29 [3] 2.29 mi (8:31 / mi)
shoes: Blue Asics Gel-Excite 4

To the climbing gym. Cold

Climbing 1:00:00 [3]

Been a while, so this wasn't my best day. Made it up a tricky V1 though, where going for the last hold was a little bit nerve wracking because the wall was sloped inward, so my foot slipping would have meant hitting my face a lot on the way down

Agility 35:00 [3]

This is getting easier

Stretching 10:00 [1]

Week plan:
Mon -- strength in am, running in pm
Tue -- agility in am, ski (conditions?) in pm
Wed -- strength in am, run in pm
Thu -- agility in am, run in pm
Fri -- strength in am, run in pm,
Sat -- ski, agility in pm
Sun -- track race, strength (climbing?) in pm
We'll see how many times I'm able to get myself out of bed early enough to hit the gym before work. This is my ideal situation though.

Agility 30:00 [3]

Was going to get to the gym but looking at housing for next year took a good 4 hours which was super stressful because I don't know what I am doing in the future and thinking about it is blehhhh. Got in some jumps to destress and get in at least a bit of training.

Nordic Skiing 44:48 [3] 6.38 mi (7:01 / mi)

Ugggghhh I decided to Uber over to Weston because it would be faster but it took the Uber 20 minutes to pick me up and then the ride was still in traffic and slow, so it took way too long. About an hour and fifteen minutes to get there from when I called for the Uber. The skiing was so much fun though!! Very glad I went. Even by myself, I was smiling as I skied around. Got there too late for the race, but am going to try again next week. Met Betty Ann, who recorded the timing, and she gave me some more info on the racing series. I wanted to ski for longer, but knew it would be long in coming back. And it was. I was fed up with Uber so opted for the 30 minute walk from Weston ski track to the end of the green line. My phone was on 1% battery so I had to memorize the directions (thankfully only a few turns) and hope for the best. It was a little sketchy walking around unfamiliar roads alone at night. Made it to the T, and had a somewhat shorter walk from the Fenway stop back to campus.
Moral: skiing is fun, commuting is not.
