Highland glen trails, to the painted hills trail. Been a while since I’ve ran out this direction! Tried someplace new with Leahy. It’s about 7 miles out to triple tree if you go all the way, so I’m thinking about doing the full thing Friday. I haven’t ever ran more than a half marathon, but this wouldn’t be a race at all, so hopefully it would be manageable at least. Leahy offered to do the second half with me, which I think would be great to have a running buddy on the latter half!

Peet’s our and back, staying on trails as much as possible. On the way up, I felt really low energy and just not good, like I was working really hard and not moving fast at all. The southern uphill was a little better, and then the whole downhill felt a lot better.

Walked around for 40 minutes and spent another 20 minutes or so attempting to longboard. Felt my right knee in both activities, so maybe taking the day off of running was the right call.

Story hills from home. Feels good to get the weekend long run done on Saturday instead of leaving it for Sunday! Aside from my upper body being sore, everything was feeling good. Could have used a running buddy at points though, since a bit of boredom set in.
