On my feet all day for helping out as crew lead and D/O at recruit training, followed by my last little bit of moving in the evening. Foot is feeling pretty okay! A little sore, but manageable, and not more than yesterday (which means biking was 100% fine for it). I’m still probably not going to run until I can stand and walk all day without any pain, but we’re tracking in the right direction.

Up to Hyalite and back. This was much more manageable than the time that Siri and I did it a year ago, with extra flat miles tacked on to get from campus to the canyon. Road stays closed to cars for another week, so I’ll have to try get out to do this again.
Foot is feeling really sore today. I’m thinking it might be peroneal tendonitis, but I know there are probably a million different things that could be wrong. Although biking felt fine yesterday, I’m pretty sure it caused some of today’s aggravation.

Not at all technical mountain biking, just on a gravel road (Axtell Anceny road). Nice ride though, surrounded by beautiful fields and rolling hills with the mountains further out. L foot was hurting on my walk this morning, so I think biking is going to be the move for the next few days at least. There’s really no reason right now to rush it and start running before it’s ready.
