This was an unfortunately un-fun run. Long grass all around which meant for itchy allergic reactions on my legs, 1 snake in the middle of the trail, and 3 more snakes that slithered away in the long grass.

Opted to go for some short-distance vert today. People have been known to lap the M, and although I didn’t today because I had somewhere to be, I could see how people do it. Once you’re back down to the bottom, you’ve had so much fun on the downhill that you’ve forgotten how much the climb sucks!
I need to think about investing in some sort of a water carrier, whether that’s a vest, small backpack, fanny pack, or hand bottle, I’m not sure yet. Bozeman has too nice of trail running to not venture out for some longer adventures!
